Rachel is a member of International Coach Federation, the governing body for professional coaches, and she has met their stringent standards as an Associated Certified Coach (ACC).

Rachel Dexheimer is the president and founder of EquiSpire Coaching dedicated to self re-discovery through a profoundly collaborative relationship with one of the most inspiring creatures in our world — the horse.

Rachel is a powerful and dynamic Coach, speaker, and author who spent 18 years thriving in the cultural and technical complexities of Fortune 500 companies including Lucent, Avaya, Convergys, United Parcel Service, and McCaw Cellular. Her roles included leading multi-million dollar projects that spanned the globe.

While she reveled in building strong business relationships, creating high performing teams, and assuming progressively challenging assignments, there was something missing - a contribution to the greater good.

For the past 30 years, Rachel has been building relationships with horses. The love affair began in her garage as she 'rode' a stack of tires and dreamed of the black stallion striding beneath her. As the horses became real, her love and commitment blossomed. She studied the ancient art of Dressage and was exhilarated by cross country jumping! She began honing her leadership skills as a barn manager in her teens.

She has personally experienced the transformative effects of equine companionship. As her understanding, respect, and trust of them as peers has deepened, their relationships have transformed. And, as her relationships with the horses deepen, so do all her human relationships.

The horses inspired the founding of EquiSpire Coaching and guided Rachel to find her purpose as a gifted Coach. She is honored to engage daily in the great joy and deep fulfillment of working with the horses in service to their clients.

She is a sought after speaker and trainer and founded Animal Wisdom Coaching, specializing in advanced leadership development for select leaders.

She is privileged to volunteer in her local community with programs such as Reading with Rover and the Compassionate Action Network. She is also a member of the University of Washington Alumni Board which grants scholarships based on leadership, community service, financial need, and academic accomplishment.
